What did NCAA D1 coaches say about Josh as a player?

Lon Kruger
Head Coach
University of Oklahoma (Retired)

Josh Wilson plays the game at 100% at all times. He is a threat to score in many different ways. He shoots the three well and is very effective in driving to the paint. Most importantly, Josh has a “team first” attitude and makes all those around him better– he is a flat out winner!”.

Randy Rahe
Head Coach
Weber State University (Retired)

In my three seasons as the Head Coach at Weber State University Josh Wilson was the player I respected the most, not only was he the best point guard in our conference but also the toughest and most competitive player we faced. He can flat out run any team, he is a tremendous passer and handler and is able to score when his team needs him to do so. On top of all that he is a very high character person, a great teammate and leader.

Brad Huse
Former Head Coach
Montana State University

“Josh was really a nightmare to play against. He is the consummate “winner” and he made shots when most needed. His basketball I.Q. is off the charts and his ability to make those around him was obvious. He is a deceptive player as he’s strong and athletic enough to get to the rim for a finish or drop off pass, but he is also an excellent shooter. His skill set is varied enough that you couldn’t just concentrate on taking away one area of his game. Josh strikes me as the type of player who will impact any team he’s on because he understands the game so well. I won’t miss playing against Josh.”

Wayne Tinkle
Head Coach
Oregon State University

Josh was an incredibly tough player to coach against! He plays the game the right way and can hurt you in many ways! Whether it be a dagger three, steal and a lay up, or a drive and a dish, he plays to the end and is one of the most fierce competitors we’ve faced! I’m very confident that he’ll be just as successful at the next level and will be that extension of the coach on the floor that we all look for!
